Tässä näyttelyssä tarinallinen lähestymistapa pyrkii kertomaan vierailijalle Suomen kansallissäveltäjästä maanläheisesti ja inhimillisesti.
In the new exhibition a storytelling approach aims to shed light on Finland’s national composer in a human size and down to earth manner. In addition to the composer’s life the focus is on his wife Aino, their daughters and family home Ainola. The exhibition highlights stories of a man who lived an ordinary life with everyday matters while being one of the most significant composers of the era. The guided tours bring out how even in Sibelius’s case he was just a human being with strengths and weaknesses.
The music of course has a large role in the exhibition. Headphones offer a selection of pieces from his vast production over the years. From the screen you can familiarize yourself with many different versions of his probably most famous work, Finlandia.
Under the exhibition work we have listened to customer feedback and also customer survey was made on summer 2019 (Novia).
